Hello friends! I’m incredibly excited to announce a new collaboration. One of my aspirations for The Clear Space going forward is more offerings where I join forces with amazing practitioners from around Birmingham and beyond, to bring you unique wellbeing and healing experiences.

On the 6th July, I’m teaming up with Sophie Rey Yoga for a blissful Yoga Nidra and sound bath in Bournville! We’d love you to join us for this immersive and rejuvenating experience that combines the healing practices of yoga nidra and a restorative sound bath journey.

This session takes place at the Friends Meeting House on Bournville Green and it will help you to relax, release tension, and nourish your mind, body, and soul.

Yoga Nidra: Deep Relaxation and Self-Discovery

We’ll start our journey with (very!) gentle somatic movement led by Sophie. This will help you arrive in the space and create a deep mind-body connection, while easing out tension and stiffness from the day.

We’ll then transition into a guided Yoga Nidra practice, where you’ll experience a form of guided meditation that can lead to profound relaxation of both body and mind.

Yoga Nidra, meaning "Yogic Sleep," allows you to enter a state of conscious sleep. Through this practice, our focus turns inward and we can experience increased self awareness and more connection with our true selves. Yoga Nidra can also reduce stress, anxiety & depression, improve sleep and increase our creativity.

The transformative power of sound baths and sound meditation

Your Yoga Nidra experience will gently transition into a deeply nourishing sound bath journey using Koshi chimes and crystal singing bowls. As you surrender to the restorative vibrations of the soundscape, you’ll find your self in a space where you can quiet your mind, nourish your soul, and create a profound sense of peace within.

About The Clear Space and Sophie Rey Yoga and Art

 

Sophie is an illustrator, mixed media artist, and yoga teacher, and she brings her expertise in Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Yoga Nidra, and more to create accessible and trauma-informed practices. She specialises in supporting older adults and those with diagnosed health conditions. Sophie's goal is to provide a safe, inclusive space for clients to reconnect with their bodies, breath, and inner selves through movement and

The Clear Space is founded by Laura and offerings include meditation, sound baths, therapeutic counselling, community events, reiki, and healing. Laura's journey with meditation, well-being, psychology, and spirituality began as a way to manage her own mental health struggles. She brings a trauma-informed and inclusive approach to her work, honouring the cycles of nature and the moon.
